First week in Hong Kong!

It's getting harder and harder to categorize my posts... But yeah, I AM FINALLY IN HONG KONG!!! I can't believe I'm gonna be studying at the University of Hong Kong for five freakin' months! @_@

Jacky came to pick me up from the airport :) He helped me settle in for a bit and we went out right away. My roomie's name is Janet - she's a really sweet girl from Tufts. :) Our room is small and isn't exactly royalty D:

I was super exhausted upon arrival, but since Jacky and I only had two days together... I had to suck it up ._. We also exchanged Christmas gifts that day... Funny, we both knit each other scarves! :) His mum taught him...

Aren't I lucky? Yes hunnie, I do think it's girly enough :)

We took a ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui - I guess you can say it was sorta romantic :)

I almost died from exhaustion, so we called it a day after a Korean dinner :) The next day, we met up early for a lovely HK-style breakfast. We went to Causeway Bay to do some shopping, took some sticker pictures, then ate dinner with his parents. I went over and had a very LOL-able time looking at his old family photos :) Then I had to see him off at the airport the next day T_T...

I love this set!

I also spent some time with family - Not too many photos from those outings though. I met up with Andrew and Justin the other day... We did some "shopping" and had dinner.
Andrew, Joan, Justin....and met up with Adam for a drink/shisha. My first time seeing it.. I'm such a noob. I'm also a noob at forming hearts D:

Then this morning we had our orientation... It was the longest thing ever. But informative, I guess. A group of students performed a lion dance!

Overall, I'm having a pretty good time... Save for the fact that my body is totally sleep-deprived D: I've been able to see my dad a lot! I really do wanna spend more time with him before he leaves :) I was supposed to go to the orientation party tonight, but opted out last minute. I really need some rest D: Which I will do... right about now.
